1. On a bench in the Tuileries Garden
Open from 7:30 am to 7 pm, the Tuileries Garden is the ideal place to rest after lunch or at the end of the day. On a bench or in the famous reclining chairs near the pools, the place is quiet during the week and completely free!
2. At the top of the steps of the Butte Montmartre
Once the steps have been climbed, it is very pleasant to rest on the small patches of lawn in order to contemplate the view over all of Paris. Rather comfortable, calm is not guaranteed as the area is quite touristy. To do as well in the morning as for a magnificent sunset!
3. On the roofs of Notre-Dame church
In the same spirit, what a pleasure to take a nap after climbing the 422 steps of this magnificent church. Entrance is free for children under 25, otherwise it’s 8 euros. 4. In the Buttes Chaumont park
A true haven of peace, this remote park is the ideal place for an extended nap between 7am and 9pm. The spaces are very green, mountainous limit. Near the lake, the nap effect in the middle of nature is guaranteed!
5. In the Beaubourg library
Renowned cultural space, it is less so for its great calm and the many places available to rest in all serenity. Do not hesitate to take advantage of one of the small boxes present everywhere in the library. You don’t even have to pick up a book! (Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
Last tip, during your sunny naps, don’t forget to watch out for sunburn!
