Are you looking for a fun activity to do with your children between 2 and 3 years old?
It is true that it is not easy to occupy the children, especially during periods of confinement.
Fortunately, a kindergarten teacher gave me her recipe for salt paint.
A little salt, water, glue and off you go for a great activity.
The technique is super simple and the little ones love it! Look :
– fine salt
– 1 to 2 drops of food coloring of different colors
– white glue
– sheets of paper
– 4 small containers
How to do
1. Pour three tablespoons of salt into each bowl.
2. Add the food coloring.
3. Mix well to obtain a homogeneous colored mixture.
4. Spread the glue on the sheet of paper with an old paintbrush.
5. Have the children use the colored salt to paint the leaf.
There you go, you now know how to occupy your children with salt paint 🙂
Easy, fast and cheap !
It’s like sand painting … but with salt.
Useful when you have no more paint at home. And it is much cheaper!
In addition, you are sure that there is no toxic product in your salt paint.
Kids love to mix colors with their hands to get their paint!
All they have to do is spread it on the leaves with their fingers or a brush to make funny shapes.
Of course, nothing prevents you from helping them to achieve a beautiful work of art!
It’s the perfect activity to keep kids ages 2 to 3 busy on a rainy day.
If you don’t have fine salt, you can use Epsom salt or try coarse salt.
